Christina Izbașa graduated from the University of Guyana with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in 2010.
She is a skilled artist who uses charcoal and graphite to capture the intricacies of her subject matter, creating breathtakingly detailed and vivid renderings of the spaces, faces and the lifestyles of people around her.
While working with a grey scale is a natural instinct for this artist, she also uses colour mediums with confidence.
In 2021, Christina began exploring traditional animation/illustration, and has since released a collection of limited edition Christmas cards that showcases the nuances of a Guyanese Christmas experience.
Notably, Christina’s work has been featured in several displays hosted in Guyana and Canada.
