The Guyana National Cultural Registry is an initiative of the Government of Guyana under the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and is intended to serve as a digital register of Guyanese creative producers, and practitioners that will serve as an attestation to the authenticity of their skill and resulting works, to connect artists and artistes with producers worldwide, and give visibility to their work.
Currently, the register focuses on the following fields of endeavour;
- visual art
- music
- dance
- theatre arts and drama.
Individual or groups may apply however, they must be of Guyanese origin and must have at least one year’s expenses in the field of endeavour.
Each profile carries a short biography, photos of sample works, links to websites, social media pages containing works.
