Gadmain Productions offers a wide variety of abstract and realistic wooden sculptures. It is owned and operated by Mr. Brentnol Lewis. He attended Cove and John Primary and Secondary school. He also attended an I.A.S.T program sponsored by the University of Guyana where he was introduced to art and fell in love with the creativity of the wood work. His first piece was sold to an art shop on Water Street (Dennis Williams). He is a member of the Main Street Art Group and the Guyana Art and Craft Producers’ Association. He has exhibited his works at several regional and local expos including CARIFESTA 2019 in Trinidad.
Some of his pieces represent the National symbols of Guyana including the Canje Pheasant, the Coat-of-Arms and the Arapaima fish. He also creates special pieces like the Pork-knocker which represents local traditional mining practices in Guyana, abstract pieces that depicts mother and child & family and nature. His works are three dimensional with a wax finish and ranges from large sculptures to plaques.
