| Guyanese singer “Kurt Lee,” born Curtly Aubrey Lake on the 16th of March, 1996, at the Leonora Cottage Hospital, West Coast Demerara, Young Kurt Lee, who relocated from Stewartsville, West Coast Demerara, to the Essequibo Coast, attended the Danielstown Nursery School, Sparta Primary, and the Anna Regina Secondary. Kurt Lee, who started off officially as a dancehall artist, claims music has no boundaries and limitations because he also creates soca music, RnB, trap, etc. The artist also plays his role as one of the frontrunners in the new, improved, and revived genre of Guyanese music called #kwehkweh music. Kurt Lee has been doing a lot in the short span of time.
Locally and internationally, he has done work with Caribbean Captain and Yanga Kid Grenada and Out Of Notting Production Jamaica. Diplomat Music America and Guyana’s local music giant AJRECORDS, who release an EP for the artist called The Birth of Kweh Kweh with songs like Presi Rock and Dang If Yuh Danging.
